Thoroughbred Memories

The first to leave Fort Wayne, Indiana that warm July day back in 1990 was an eastbound for Detroit. Next came an eastbound over the ex-Nickle Plate headed to Bellevue. Then the 1218 and train departed over the ex-Wabash. The final move was a two unit eastbound off that same ex-Wabash line that moved onto the ex-NKP.
