Locations include, Cajon, Tehachapi, the Mojave Desert, Arizona, New Mexico, and many more. Classic SF motive power from that era abounds, and is shown in transition from the bookend blue scheme through repainting, rebuilding, and renumbering into the yellow bonnet scheme. While this is not a history, the photographs contained within are now historical themselves.
